One lazy Saturday afternoon my neighbor James and I decided to take a spontaneous bike ride to the beach.
The weather was decent and we were bored, so we took a little trip down to the south of the city.
We saw a cool big house.
We saw an empty campground.
And we saw some rocks in piles somebody had obviously had fun making.
Surrounded by water on three sides, Denmark is full of beaches, and islands. Needless to say, they aren’t very pleasant for over half the year. But as the weather warms up, I’m starting to see why people like it here. I plan to do more day trips, weekend trips, and excursions into nature in Denmark as the spring arrives.

Hey Caitlin, thanks for following my blog 🙂 What are you talking about, cooler weather??? It was the warmest it’s been since September!
Funny story, I just asked Torhild how the weather is in northern Norway, she said “Great! It’s between -1 and 5 degrees and it’s snowing.” LOL
That looks like so much fun despite the cooler weather!
the piles of stone are there to make sure the sea doesnt eat the beaches ::-)
